Endowment Fund Program

Three diverse funds were created to help sustain the mission and presence of the Lorain County Free Clinic for years to come or as long as there is a need.

The funds help the Free Clinic offset health care costs for the medically underserved in Lorain and eastern Erie counties. The Lorain County Free Clinic Endowment goes toward general operations support. The other two endowment funds are held at the Community Foundation Lorain County. These funds are the Free Clinic Endowment Fund, which helps provide medical equipment and supplies, and the Beth K. Stocker RX Fund for the Free Clinic, which covers prescription drug costs for patients.

Gifts may also be designated as a Memorial or an Honorarium. These important gifts of good health become a permanent part of the Endowment Fund. Gifts made in honor or in memory of friends or loved ones serve to perpetuate the vital work of the Lorain County Free Clinic.
The funds are overseen with input from the Lorain County Free Clinic Endowment Committee and the professional guidance of its fund managers charged with helping foster growth for the future.
