Free Clinic Visits Beacon Charitable Pharmacy
Staff from the Free Clinic recently visited Beacon Charitable Pharmacy in Canton.
Beacon and the LCFC are members of Ohio’s Charitable Health Care Network and collaborate to provide care and medicines to the uninsured.
Beacon also plays a key role in making expensive drugs available to the Lorain County Uninsured Coalitions Drug Repository Program, which is administered by Lorain County Public Health.
Medications are reclaimed and repackaged from Nursing Home distributors and then made available to those in need; otherwise, millions of dollars in medications would be wasted.
